England

Loved this trip!

Self-Guided tour with my friend, it was amazing, Ride-with-GPS was perfect, did not get lost anywhere. Ride Inn to Inn, picturesque villages, stone houses, just like Downtown Abbey. Felt very safe every day, Pubs and food were delicious. We had no problem with our bikes, it was a perfect trip! Note there was no leaders on this Self-Guided tour but the VBT local host that set up our bikes and make sure our luggage was delivered at every Inn was great, very helpful and friendly.

very poor VBT support

My companion's bike was not functioning well; the rack was dragging on the wheel. Called VBT local support and it took 3 hours for them to come. Still rack was dragging on the tire. We had to rush to get to the hotel (40 miles). We arrived at 8pm and were so exhausted we didn't feel we could ride the next day. When we called for help from a pub in late afternoon local host Howard said he couldn't help us till the next day. He was at the hotel less than 10 miles away. My friend and I lost two full days of our 5 day trip.

Beautiful Trip in a Great Area!

This was a great trip! Loved riding on the small country roads without much traffic. My first time to ride an ebike really helped with my enjoyment of the trip. I wasn't tired at the end of the day. I wasn't able to train enough before the trip so the ebike made the trip fun! Guides Tony and Mick were knowledgeable and helpful. Loved finding out about the history of the area.

Brilliant! A must go tour!

My husband and I highly recommend the bicycling tour of England, Bath and the Cotswolds hosted by VBT. Our guides were brilliant, very knowledgeable of the area history, and especially mindful of all the nuances of our gorgeous route. We were safe, well cared for, and informed. Hattie, a champion cyclist, not only was a great coach of e-bike techniques, but also able to repair bikes on site if needed. Jago was brilliant with stories, history, and nuggets of interesting information as well as funny jokes. Hotels were comfortable and food provided was over the top! We certainly missed all the three course meals once back in the states. The tour included lots of must sees, including the Downton Abbey mile, tickets to Blenheim Palace and the Roman Baths. We recommend an e-bike for most enjoyment for those 60+ years old. The rolling hills of the Cotswolds are stunning!
