Weather & Climate
Vermont weather is quite variable and showers are always a possibility. •
Spring (early June) weather can be very good for cycling: cool and crisp, with
few bugs • Summer (late June, July, August) weather tends to be warmer but is
rarely uncomfortably hot for cycling • Fall (September, October) weather is
cooler; fall foliage makes this a very desirable time to travel (foliage
generally peaks between mid-September and mid-October) The following chart of
average temperatures in Burlington will help you to prepare for your tour.

Tours are not offered in winter. Weather can be unsettled during
the latest of the fall tour dates (the last two weeks in October), but
spectacular foliage views remain. The above are average temperatures. Actual
temperatures may vary depending on developing weather patterns. Please consult a
newspaper, the Internet or local tourism office prior to your departure for
current weather information.
