Italian roots intermingle to form an entirely distinct Alpine culture in the
breathtaking landscapes of the Dolomites.
It is a region where residents transition fluidly from
Italian to German; where white, Garganega wine reins supreme and where the
locals spend their winters traveling by way of their skis. As such, our routes
will be well-marked by inviting alms – trailside restaurants that serve
everything from light refreshments to full meals – where we’ll kick back, warm
up and enjoy rubbing elbows with local skiers. Off the trail, we’ll experience
the thrill of a two mile-long sledding hill, we’ll unwind at our
accommodations’ relaxing spas and we’ll sample local specialties like strudel
and speck, a cured, smoked ham native to the Alto Adige region. Join VBT on an
exciting cultural adventure as we ski our way through the dramatic valleys and
scenic plateaus of Italy’s Dolomites.
