I don’t even know where to begin to review our time on our self guided bike tour in Croatia. This was our first go at a self guided ride and it could not have gone better first of all our guide Andrej, was excellent. He was right where he should be at every moment, when not with us, he answered any questions we had. He is knowledgeable of the area and especially the history as he is from there, and we felt very lucky to have him. The bikes were excellent. We had enough gear to ride all of the hills, the rides were Varied fun and challenging, some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever ridden in. Thank you, Vbt for an amazing adventure. We can’t wait to travel with you again. PS. Make sure to stay on either before or after your excursion to walk the wall in Dubrovnik!

Our trip was super fun. The places were beautiful and interesting and the trip was well-planned and well-mapped. The Adriatic Sea is super clean here for great swimming after our biking trips.

The absolute best customer service I’ve encountered. From the first class accommodations in the Split hotel to the final beautiful beachside hotel in Dubrovnik, every expectation was consistently exceeded. The crew on the boat were super friendly and always available if needed. All provided meals were first class. The boat sparkled as the crew wiped down all of the windows and hand rails daily. Our bike guides and support were top notch. Always cheerful and knowledgeable about the areas we biked through, I couldn’t ask for a better team. Bikes were super well maintained and always where they needed to be. Guides kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. We always knew what the plan for the day was. There was adequate personal time for swimming shopping, or just strolling around the towns.

Our bike/yacht tour of the Dalmatian Islands was absolutely the best vacation we have enjoyed in our 42 years of married life. Some of our fellow travelers and us referred to the tour as adult day care, because everything was taken care of in a singularly outstanding manner. From trip planning, to the fantastic hotel accommodations in Split and Dubrovnik, to the incredible yacht and its wonderful crew and food, to the spectacular tour guides Duye, Mario, and Irena, the tour maximized safety, enjoyment, excitement and overall pleasure. There were so many highlights, I could write a tome about them. Suffice it to say, we are sold on VBT and look forward to our next bicycle adventure with this marvelous company.

The Croatia bike trip was simply outstanding. First and foremost, we could not have gotten better guides from Croatia to show us the islands of Hvar and Brac. The culture, the scenery, the comraderie could not have been better. Plus we learned how to ascend and descend rather large hills! Would absolutely do it again.

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. I am ready for the next VBT trip! Amazing trip! Thank you.

This was my first Country Walker Walking Tour. We were invited by friends who had do several of the tour previously. Wow! This was an amazing trip. Has to be one of my all time favorites. The countries were stunningly beautiful, the weather was perfect, and it was better than advertised. The guides, Vida and Irena were fabulous and extremely proud of their respective countries. We loved their passion and enthusiam for their work. They were organzied and very helpful in every circumstance. Again, an A+. The tour itself was well done, the accomandation were first class, the food was amazing, and the hikes were as described. We have already vowed to take another Country Walker Tour, maybe even back to Croatia!

The entire experience was terrific. This trip consisted of full days of beautiful walks and a variety of interesting and fun activities. The hotels were amazing; each room had beautiful views and were fully equipped. The group size was perfect and we all got along very well. The icing on the cake was, without a doubt, the exceptional leadership of Vida and Dani. They are incredibly warm, kind, knowledgeable, fun and attentive in all the right ways. I would follow them anywhere.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!

We had an amazing time on this trip and could not have been happier with our decision to take our first ever group tour with Country Walkers. Everything about our trip was seamless. Our tour guides, Dani 1 and Dani 2, were knowledgeable, mature, funny and amiable, each in his own way, and added greatly to the trip/experience. Their local knowledge of culture, food, people, history was unmatchable. We had deep trust in them, and we knew that although everything seemed to go smoothly, they were constantly working behind the scenes to adjust plans due to weather, changes in schedule, etc. They made it look easy, but we knew it was not. Of course the hiking was nice, the views and location fantastic. The food was sumptuous and always different, so we sampled many things and felt we got exposed to all kinds of traditional Croation fare. The wine and grappa were always flowing generously. The eating locations themselves were unique. We heard rumors that this tour was being regrouped or cancelled and were quite surprised as everyone in our group seemed quite happy indeed. It would be a shame to lose these fantastic guides/guys.
