I don’t even know where to begin to review our time on our self guided bike tour in Croatia. This was our first go at a self guided ride and it could not have gone better first of all our guide Andrej, was excellent. He was right where he should be at every moment, when not with us, he answered any questions we had. He is knowledgeable of the area and especially the history as he is from there, and we felt very lucky to have him. The bikes were excellent. We had enough gear to ride all of the hills, the rides were Varied fun and challenging, some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever ridden in. Thank you, Vbt for an amazing adventure. We can’t wait to travel with you again. PS. Make sure to stay on either before or after your excursion to walk the wall in Dubrovnik!

Croatia is beautiful and my husband and I had a lovely vacation there. The trip was well organized but we were both a bit disappointed with several of the rides. Two were from our hotel to another location and then back again along the same route. There were also several rides that were too short for us so we did them twice. Our favorite ride was almost 40 miles, had significant altitude, and incredible scenery. We felt like we had really worked that day. The electric bikes worked very well and were much appreciated. Our hotels were all modern and conveniently located. We're already looking at another VBT biking trip for next year.

One of the most beautiful trips we've taken. The history of the area was also fascinating. The local guides' knowledge and experience of the area and their stories, the wonderful yacht with roomy cabins and delicious gourmet meals and the congeniality of the guests and crew all added up to a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend taking this trip!

Wowsa, what a wonderful adventure. We explored the Dalmatian Islands on beautiful scenic roads... and most importantly from the comfort of e-bikes, which made the "rolling hills" a little easier to ride. Our guides did an outstanding job from day one. Highly recommend this trip!

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. This was my first Country Walker Walking Tour. We were invited by friends who had do several of the tour previously. Wow! This was an amazing trip. Has to be one of my all time favorites. The countries were stunningly beautiful, the weather was perfect, and it was better than advertised. The guides, Vida and Irena were fabulous and extremely proud of their respective countries. We loved their passion and enthusiam for their work. They were organzied and very helpful in every circumstance. Again, an A+. The tour itself was well done, the accomandation were first class, the food was amazing, and the hikes were as described. We have already vowed to take another Country Walker Tour, maybe even back to Croatia!

Walking and dining with fellow travelers was an exceptional experience for us. From the beautiful vistas to the gourmet meals our every desire was fulfilled. Learning about the culture from our knowledgeable guides was an added bonus.

This walking tour was awesome. The different venues, hikes and lodging was all terrific . The single factor that made the trip so good, were the two Guides. Dani and Dani were so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and their trips to lunches and meals and wine tasting, at various venues were remarkable. Getting to know some of the locals at these venues, and visiting places off the beaten path, were one of the high points, in my view.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!
