Croatia

The tour was almost a 5 star. The only change I would make is that a different hotel be used in Korcula. The Marko Polo was not in good shape and we stayed there 3 nights. All of the other hotels were beautiful. Our guide, Andres, was amazing and very helpful. He went above and beyond when I got sick and couldn't finish a ride on the 4th day.

Loved the relaxed pace and flexibility of this tour. Most days you could bike as little or as much as you want while exploring the beautiful towns, beaches, and sea-side restaurants. Amazing sea views from the rides and hotel swimming pools.

Croatia was one of the best destinations we've ever visited and the tour was top notch. The leaders and driver did a great job explaining the daily activities and all clearly had a love for their country which they did their best to share with their guests. We hope to join another tour in the future.

Wonderful trip, great guides, accommodations and rides. Such a beautiful country. I really enjoyed the cultural stops along the way and learning about Croatia's history from the knowledgeable guides.

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. This was a fantastic trip taken at the perfect time of the year in September. We were able to ride, swim and dine in gorgeous settings every day. The chance to meet the locals in their homes for dinners and to hear of their lives in Croatia was priceless. We were very fortunate to have two excellent guides in Nevenka and Natasha; they were both so knowledgeable and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for better leaders!

Walking and dining with fellow travelers was an exceptional experience for us. From the beautiful vistas to the gourmet meals our every desire was fulfilled. Learning about the culture from our knowledgeable guides was an added bonus.

The guides where wonderful I learned so much about the countries we visited. Everything was top notch. The reason I always choose Country Walkers is the fact they always use local guides this makes the trip stand out above the rest. You get an insight not found with other tour companies.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!

We had a great trip thanks in a large part to our guides and our Croatian hosts! Dani and Dani were a great guiding team, who adapted the itinerary to meet our needs. They were thoughtful, informative and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this trip. You will learn so much about the wonderful and beautiful Dalmatian coast.
