Enjoyed this trip to Portugal. Good mix of easy and moderate riding to work off the fantastic food/beverages.

This was our first VBT vacation. We were very impressed with the planning, accommodations, and route. It was a wonderful experience to bike along country roads with guides who knew the area. The hotels were lovely and the meals were delicious. Everything was top-notch.

How much more than I could ever anticipated. Enjoyable and problem free!

Beautiful scenery with many picturesque views along the coast. The hotels were top notch. We had hybrid 27-speed bikes which performed well. The Ride With GPS app was easy to follow & accurate 99% of the time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first VBT experience. The tour route was very well laid out and we cannot not say enough about how impressive our tour leaders, David and Frederico, both of whom are natives of Portugal. Kudos to VBT for the way they planned and conducted our tour!

We loved this trip! Beautiful and varied biking routes; knowledgeable, competent and engaging guides, top-notch hotels, delicious food and interesting cultural activities. I wish I could do it all over again!

We enjoyed cycling through the Douro River region and seeing the charming villages. The arranged lunches at local restaurants were a highlight. The recent fires in the area did take away from some of the natural beauty, but despite that, we had fun cycling. There are plenty of lovely views to enjoy. Our trip leaders did a great job. The terrain is quite hilly, - be prepared! Cruising on the Douro added to the experience.

Really enjoyed the trip. The guides were excellent and very personable. The hiking took us through some very beautiful coastal inland areas. Some of the hiking was a bit strenuous but overall it was well planned. I would have preferred a bit more free time after the hikes in lieu of the pottery, cheese , and cider presentations.

Our tour of Northern Spain was a combination of seeing some of the beautiful landscapes of northern Spain, a flavor of what the Camino de Santiago is like and a wonderful history and cultural experience of this region of the world. Our guides were phenomenal. They took care of every detail of the tour, and made sure we got as many experiences as possible throughout the tour. They managed our safety while still giving us the freedom to explore on our own.

This was our first tour with Country Walkers. From the 1st morning where we meet our amazing guides, Helene and Ana, we knew we were in good hands! Both ladies were so knowledgeable of each area we visited. As this was also our 1st trip to Portugal, we learned a lot about the beautiful area we traveled through each day. Our accommodations were so comfortable and we really felt welcomed by each host making us feel right at home! Of course, each meal was very Portuguese flavored and so delicious. We look forward to another Country Walker’s Tour and would highly recommend the tours to anyone who loves walking through Nature!

This trip was above and beyond our expectations. Our guides were amazing. Accomodations were great.
