VBT never disappoints. This was my 4th trip with VBT and it was fantastic. Our guides Oriol and Martin were outstanding. Loved the visit to the Dali Museum and came away with a new appreciation for his work. The landscapes were beautiful and the visit to the cider company was fun. The post trip in Mallorca was a pleasure.

This was one of the best VBT tours we have taken. Food, riding, scenery, exploration of the art of Dali, wonderful guides and fantastic accommodations. Pre-trip in Barcelona is a must do to see the Gaudi architecture and Picasso museum as well as experience Catalonia at its best.

Bike routes were beautiful and enjoyable! Loved the town of St. Remy and the location of our hotel. Really enjoyed Avignon and again, the location of the hotel made exploring the city very easy.

Great trip! Our guides were great hosts and made sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and getting the most out of each day. Gorgeous part of the world.

As with all our VBT experiences Portugal did not disappoint. The trips are planned well from the time you take off from home until you land back at home. The transfers, the accommodations, and the in between are well thought out and planned. Any necessary changes are planned for. Portugal is tourist friendly, they are ahead of the curve with the pandemic, follow the rules. It is tough to find a bad meal, the weather was great; there is a lot of history. The cycling was easily doable for all who cycle 25 miles with some wind or hills. If you take only a few trips, make this one.

Enjoyed this trip to Portugal. Good mix of easy and moderate riding to work off the fantastic food/beverages.

We've taken 16 VBT trips and the Scandinavia trip is definitely in the top two or three trips we've taken with them. Whoever laid this trip out really knew what they were doing. Great biking, three beautiful and most interesting cities: Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki, ferry ride experiences, the Stockholm Archipelago, great hotels, good food, incredible museums and wonderful guides who really knew the area and culture. This trip is one of VBT's very best and it won't surprise me to see it become their signature trip!

We enjoyed a wonderful week of cycling through the Cotswolds across rolling countryside, past beautiful farmlands and pastures filled with grazing sheep, through charming villages and past stately manor houses. This was my first ebike experience and the hills warranted the pedal assist. I would rate this route as moderate as many on the climbs were quite challenging for those on a road bike. Queen Elizabeth had just passed, and our excellent and resourceful guides, Kate Edmond and Conor Murphy, rearranged our itinerary for the Queen’s national day of mourning, providing a delicious picnic on the banks of Bourton-on-the-Water. For afternoon tea break, we enjoyed the Queen’s favorite, Victoria sponge! Stops included Blenheim Palace, Hidcote Gardens, Bath Roman Baths, and sites of the filming of Downton Abbey and Harry Potter. Bookending the cycling trip with the pre-and post-trip option of Oxford and Bath is recommended.

The reasons we choose VBT are several but VBT's attention to detail is superb. Our accommodations were the best not only in location and ambiance but the staffs were most friendly and welcoming. Our tour guides were exceptional and very attentive to our safety and local knowledge. There were no negatives on our trip. In choosing VBT you cannot go wrong.

We thought the guides were nice and helpful. having done many competitors trips, I felt additional would have been better. I did not like the E-bikes. Big, Heavy and in need of better maintenance. My son was riding and his wheel came off. Shifting gears was a challenge. Again, we had just completed a trip with a competitor and the quality of their bikes was far superior. I didn't like the hotels. Especially our last two nights. The room was full of bugs (all guests seem to have same issue). The best advise we got was not to squish them because that makes to big a mess. Funny but not the quality I was hoping for.

Biking on bike paths and small roads was fabulous. And little time was spent on transit. Two hotels stood out for both accommodations and food: Lavey aux Bains and Talloires.

This VBT trip does not disappoint! The attention to detail for every visit and experience was remarkable. I live in the mid-west and don't have many hills to train on so these rides were challenging for me, but doable and once I was done I felt very satisfied. The accommodations were all different and great in their own way. The guides were energetic and informative. I highly recommend this tour - it's a great way to see Greece!

The experience with VBT went beyond expectations as did the part of Greece where we cycled. The Peloponnesian Peninsula is a relatively undiscovered biking jewel, I enjoyed it far more than biking various Greek Islands. Accommodations were excellent and Greek food speaks for itself. VBT and the guides went out of their way in providing a 5 star experience. The bikes were new and top quality, the routes were varied and interesting. The guides bent over backwards to please us and provide a great biking as well as cultural experience.

What an amazing biking trip! The pre trip to Sirimione was a beautiful experience and then the FUN began. Our guides, Angelo and Giovanni, were so knowledgeable and very helpful with everything. They made our trip memorable in many ways. There are not enough superlatives to describe the beauty of the Lake District. If you love VBT please move this one to the top of your next trip!

This trip exceeded our expectations!! The scenery - lakes, valleys, rivers, vineyards, glaciers and olive groves - was spectacular! Our guides were so knowledgeable and personable. Accommodations and food were excellent! Go!

Excellent experience overall. We’ve taken as many as ten VBT European tours, all guided. This was our first self-guided, and we loved the flexibility and freedom. Don’t get me wrong, Jan, our Guide met us and set us up for the ride, installing our pedals and saddles. He also checked in on us every day with a text. It was great to know he cared. Excellent trip overall, with excellent views and hotels. Highly recommended!

This trip was everything I'd hoped for: idyllic scenes, charming accommodations, amazing food, and the thrill of taking it all in on a bike. The navigation app was easy to use and very helpful. My only suggestion would be to include a lakeside stop at Lunz am See - it's not to be missed!
