This was one of the best VBT tours we have taken. Food, riding, scenery, exploration of the art of Dali, wonderful guides and fantastic accommodations. Pre-trip in Barcelona is a must do to see the Gaudi architecture and Picasso museum as well as experience Catalonia at its best.

I wasn't sure I would be able to do this ride. But I had no problem at all. I used an e-bike and kept up the group and had a ball! Everyone on the ride was wonderful and fun to be with. If you aren't sure you might be up for a ride thru Spain, think again. Anyone can do it using an e-bike. I can't wait to do my next trip!! Hum, where shall I go?

This was our first VBT vacation and we have already registered for a second trip. Provence and the Alpilles is a beautiful region of France with abundant fruits, vegetables and other agriculture. The bicycle travel through the French countryside gives an up-close and personal travel experience.

Great trip! Our guides were great hosts and made sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and getting the most out of each day. Gorgeous part of the world.

This was our first VBT vacation. We were very impressed with the planning, accommodations, and route. It was a wonderful experience to bike along country roads with guides who knew the area. The hotels were lovely and the meals were delicious. Everything was top-notch.

Portugal was our 11th VBT trip and 12th biking trip. It was the best or at least equal to our other great trips. The guides were the best ever and the hotels , especially the Farm House, were excellent. The biking was challenging at times but very good overall. We highly recommend the trip and very much want to return to Portugal. Great food, great wine and a beautiful country. We felt very safe on the roads and highways as Portugal drivers are very courteous to bikers. Absolutely nothing to complain about and as with all VBT trips, a great value.

We've taken 16 VBT trips and the Scandinavia trip is definitely in the top two or three trips we've taken with them. Whoever laid this trip out really knew what they were doing. Great biking, three beautiful and most interesting cities: Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki, ferry ride experiences, the Stockholm Archipelago, great hotels, good food, incredible museums and wonderful guides who really knew the area and culture. This trip is one of VBT's very best and it won't surprise me to see it become their signature trip!

This was our first VBT tour and it won't be our last. The GPS directions were easy and amazing. The logistics were flawless making each day a new, exciting and carefree adventure. Will and Dan were superb guides keeping us safe and informed throughout the trip. This was a great way to explore the Cotswolds.

Splendid vacation, beautiful country, wonderful guides

This was a spectacular trip the scenery was lovely the mountains and valleys. The sound of cow bells echoing in the valleys and the bike paths. Much of the trip is on bike paths by blue lakes. This is enjoyable bike trip through lovely county and small towns.

The electric bikes made it so easy and the scenery was breathtaking. Favorite part was the pre trip. Places we stayed were first class.

The experience with VBT went beyond expectations as did the part of Greece where we cycled. The Peloponnesian Peninsula is a relatively undiscovered biking jewel, I enjoyed it far more than biking various Greek Islands. Accommodations were excellent and Greek food speaks for itself. VBT and the guides went out of their way in providing a 5 star experience. The bikes were new and top quality, the routes were varied and interesting. The guides bent over backwards to please us and provide a great biking as well as cultural experience.

This VBT trip does not disappoint! The attention to detail for every visit and experience was remarkable. I live in the mid-west and don't have many hills to train on so these rides were challenging for me, but doable and once I was done I felt very satisfied. The accommodations were all different and great in their own way. The guides were energetic and informative. I highly recommend this tour - it's a great way to see Greece!

Over 3 decades my wife and I, now in our 70's and living on the Western Slope of Colorado, have done multiple bike trips, including 3 others with VBT. This is one of our top two trips and the other trip was long ago and no longer available. Our trip was the end of June 2023. Weather was excellent, on the warmish side, with only one brief rain shower. We are regular road and gravel bikers and did this trip on road bikes. The VBT road bikes were excellent quality and, at least for this trip, were outfitted with "gravel-like" tires. If you are use to road bikes, they are fine for this tour. The trip is very well planned with interesting and well placed hotels (although the first had rather hard beds and flat pillows), multiple night stays at each hotel if you do the pre and post trips, interesting and scenic transfers including a beautiful train ride, interesting and beautiful ride segments mostly on paved bike paths or hard packed smooth unpaved trails. There was a little traffic riding but the traffic was respectful and light. Riding is mostly easy with a few not-too-long moderate segments. One very short segment, perhaps 60 feet, was a walkable "Roman Road-like" climb to a road crossing. Our guides, Roberto and Elena, were pleasant, experienced, hard working, attentive, locals who speak excellent English, and have a good sense of humor. Meals were good and but not overly-done as on some previous trips. The many boat transfers on Lake Iseo were especially nice. We appreciated that both pre and post trips were in small towns, although very busy with tourists during the day, unlike some previous trips. Overall, despite a few hiccups beyond VBT's control, like a cancelled flight and a delayed checked bag, this was a wonderful trip that we highly recommend.

Get ready for an amazing trip. My wife and I were anxious to go on this new trip for 2022. Boy did they hit a bulls-eye! The scenery just spectacular the train ride to St Moritz breathtaking and e bikes to make the the ride truly enjoyable while cruising on the many bike paths . Quaint little towns and just the perfect balance between planned meals and meals on your own. The guides quickly became family and were gracious, knowledgeable of Italy and very accommodating. Already planning a trip to the dolomites..

Our self-guided Danube bike tour was glorious from start to finish. The bikes were excellent. The prescribed routes were beautiful and easy to navigate. (About 50km/day was perfect.) Lodgings were sublime, lovely locations with amazing breakfasts. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Thank you VBT!

The self-guided tour was wonderful and well paced - it went through beautiful and interesting country, the people I met were kind and the food was terrific! I had some trouble, though, with the Ride With GPS app. It functioned poorly with frequent messages that the GPS signal was weak. I had to seek out directions, several times, from people in towns or on the trail.
