My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the VBT Costa Brava trip. The biking itinerary was clearly written and well planned. We are confident traveling in Europe after living there many years, however, we believe it is safer and certainly more convenient to bike with a reputable group tour. VBT offers a high quality experience which we can recommend without hesitation.

Great trip
VBT never disappoints. This was my 4th trip with VBT and it was fantastic. Our guides Oriol and Martin were outstanding. Loved the visit to the Dali Museum and came away with a new appreciation for his work. The landscapes were beautiful and the visit to the cider company was fun. The post trip in Mallorca was a pleasure.

Exceptional vacation
This was our first VBT vacation and we have already registered for a second trip. Provence and the Alpilles is a beautiful region of France with abundant fruits, vegetables and other agriculture. The bicycle travel through the French countryside gives an up-close and personal travel experience.

Great week of biking, wine and dining - perfect!
The trip was a perfect way to visit southern Portugal. The guides were awesome, always there to lend a hand or offer guidance. The bikes were outstanding - brand new fleet. The routes were interesting and scenic with little traffic. The food and wine were great. And above all the opportunity to spend time with old friends and to meet new friends was rewarding. Thanks

5 Star Trip
Portugal was our 11th VBT trip and 12th biking trip. It was the best or at least equal to our other great trips. The guides were the best ever and the hotels , especially the Farm House, were excellent. The biking was challenging at times but very good overall. We highly recommend the trip and very much want to return to Portugal. Great food, great wine and a beautiful country. We felt very safe on the roads and highways as Portugal drivers are very courteous to bikers. Absolutely nothing to complain about and as with all VBT trips, a great value.

Great Biking & Interesting Cities
We've taken 16 VBT trips and the Scandinavia trip is definitely in the top two or three trips we've taken with them. Whoever laid this trip out really knew what they were doing. Great biking, three beautiful and most interesting cities: Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki, ferry ride experiences, the Stockholm Archipelago, great hotels, good food, incredible museums and wonderful guides who really knew the area and culture. This trip is one of VBT's very best and it won't surprise me to see it become their signature trip!

Our wonderful time in England: Bath & the Cotswold
Monica and I had one of our best, if not the best vacation we ever had. Our greatest delight was how our tour group bonded. We started to believe we were riding with friends. Our Tour guides, Tony and Mick, helped to bring this about with their thoughtfulness, courtesy and hard work. They both went out of their way to keep us safe and to get to know each and every one of us. Bath & the Cotswolds were extraordinarily beautiful, and that beauty was enhanced by being on a bicycle and riding in weather conducive to cycling. (Cool, cloudy and dry for the most part). Many of the English people along the way exuded friendly cheerfulness. I saw many people working very hard to make sure we were fed well and properly taken care of in the hotels. Each hotel had many charms, with my favorites being The Francis, (elegant) and Oxford Spires (beautiful property layout). The bicycle provided seemed sturdy and fairly new. It just happened to have the exact same derailleur as the one I have at home! Many of our companions had taken several trips with VBT, and I hope I can do so in the future!

A great way to explore the Cotswolds
This was our first VBT tour and it won't be our last. The GPS directions were easy and amazing. The logistics were flawless making each day a new, exciting and carefree adventure. Will and Dan were superb guides keeping us safe and informed throughout the trip. This was a great way to explore the Cotswolds.

Biking Trip France & Switzerland
I absolutely loved this trip. From the moment we started the trip, our guides (Luigi and Eve) made us feel welcome and supported. Lodging was another highlight—charming inns and boutique hotels with local character, great food, and warm hospitality. The rides along the countryside were spectacular. What made this trip stand out was the perfect blend of physical activity, cultural immersion, and pure joy. I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life. Highly recommended to anyone who loves cycling, food, history, and a bit of adventure. I can’t wait to do another tour with this company!

BEST. VACATION. EVER.
VBT truly exceeded all expectations on our recent vacation! They made everything so easy, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without stress or hassle. It was the perfect way to explore the breathtaking valleys of the Alps — every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the stunning hotel selections and engaging cultural activities to the incredibly scenic bike routes and just the right amount of free time. What made this trip even more memorable was our amazing group. Our tour guides Felipe and Luigi were really the cherry on top of it all! The camaraderie we shared felt effortless, and it's clear that VBT puts a strong emphasis on creating meaningful connections among travelers. That focus really shines through and turns an already beautiful adventure into something truly epic. Can't recommend it enough — we’re already dreaming of our next trip with VBT!

Gorgeous views, rewarding rides and delicious food
This VBT trip does not disappoint! The attention to detail for every visit and experience was remarkable. I live in the mid-west and don't have many hills to train on so these rides were challenging for me, but doable and once I was done I felt very satisfied. The accommodations were all different and great in their own way. The guides were energetic and informative. I highly recommend this tour - it's a great way to see Greece!

Wonderful trip
The experience with VBT went beyond expectations as did the part of Greece where we cycled. The Peloponnesian Peninsula is a relatively undiscovered biking jewel, I enjoyed it far more than biking various Greek Islands. Accommodations were excellent and Greek food speaks for itself. VBT and the guides went out of their way in providing a 5 star experience. The bikes were new and top quality, the routes were varied and interesting. The guides bent over backwards to please us and provide a great biking as well as cultural experience.

Wonderful trip - lots of fun.
Our first VBT trip and it was wonderful. Our guides Giovanni and Roberto were amazing, we really enjoyed our time with them. They were very informative about the area and enjoyed sharing their stories and adventures. They kept the entire running smoothly. There were a few itinerary changes such as being unable to cycle around Monte Isola which was changed to a short guided tour which was actually very informative, plus I got to buy some gifts afterwards which was great. Also the boat that VBT hires out was unavailable due to mechanical issues so we biked instead. It all worked out, even when a half marathon stopped us in our tracks one morning. Roberto found us a bus to take around the route while Giovanni trailered our bikes and we continued on - great teamwork and problem solving skills. The accommodations were good, some were a little better than others. Each hotel had it’s owns quirks but that just added to the trip. VBT dinners were very good, lots of local cultural foods. The e-bikes worked very well. The whole group used them. The actual biking routes were varied, a mixture of bike paths and some roads. Italian drivers are very considerate of cyclists. We enjoyed the variety of scenery. A big highlight was of course the Bernina Red Train through the Swiss Alps. It had been overcast the previous day but we had sunshine for the train ride. Loved the scenery, the bike ride up to the glacier and the downhill to St. Moritz. The trip of course ends in Lake Como. The group stayed in Bellagio. Unfortunately on our extra day it was raining. We were unable to take a boat tour of the lake but if you have to stay in one town on Lake Como because it is raining it would be Bellagio. Very quaint town, you can walk, shop and of course eat and drink. We already looking into our next VBT trip - Tuscany Fall 2026.

A Great Self Guided Tour.
I did the Germany, Austria, Danube River, VBT tour in August 2024. It was a self guided tour and I was the only one that had signed up for it for the month of August. I was a little concerned doing a self guided trip by myself, but it turned out great. Despite being August, the heat was not bad most of my riding was in the morning but it was still in the 70s mid and upper. Didn't turn 80° until around 1:30 2 o'clock in the afternoon. As usual VBT did a great job with the hotels, they were all excellent. The ride was easy going down river, no big hills. VBT also had shuttles to carry me past the less scenic parts of the ride. VBT also. did. an excellent job booking all of my travel even the travel after the bike tour. It was a great adventure. I totally enjoyed it.
