This was one of the best VBT tours we have taken. Food, riding, scenery, exploration of the art of Dali, wonderful guides and fantastic accommodations. Pre-trip in Barcelona is a must do to see the Gaudi architecture and Picasso museum as well as experience Catalonia at its best.

VBT never disappoints. This was my 4th trip with VBT and it was fantastic. Our guides Oriol and Martin were outstanding. Loved the visit to the Dali Museum and came away with a new appreciation for his work. The landscapes were beautiful and the visit to the cider company was fun. The post trip in Mallorca was a pleasure.

Bike routes were beautiful and enjoyable! Loved the town of St. Remy and the location of our hotel. Really enjoyed Avignon and again, the location of the hotel made exploring the city very easy.

This was our first VBT vacation and we have already registered for a second trip. Provence and the Alpilles is a beautiful region of France with abundant fruits, vegetables and other agriculture. The bicycle travel through the French countryside gives an up-close and personal travel experience.

The trip was a perfect way to visit southern Portugal. The guides were awesome, always there to lend a hand or offer guidance. The bikes were outstanding - brand new fleet. The routes were interesting and scenic with little traffic. The food and wine were great. And above all the opportunity to spend time with old friends and to meet new friends was rewarding. Thanks

Portugal was our 11th VBT trip and 12th biking trip. It was the best or at least equal to our other great trips. The guides were the best ever and the hotels , especially the Farm House, were excellent. The biking was challenging at times but very good overall. We highly recommend the trip and very much want to return to Portugal. Great food, great wine and a beautiful country. We felt very safe on the roads and highways as Portugal drivers are very courteous to bikers. Absolutely nothing to complain about and as with all VBT trips, a great value.

Enjoyed the variety of sights and rides. The guides were awesome and knew alot about the culture and history of Scandinavia. I apprecaietd the variety of skills the guides demonstrated in biking, tending to guests, history, and every aspect of ensuring the trip was enjoyable for al. l

This was a great trip! Loved riding on the small country roads without much traffic. My first time to ride an ebike really helped with my enjoyment of the trip. I wasn't tired at the end of the day. I wasn't able to train enough before the trip so the ebike made the trip fun! Guides Tony and Mick were knowledgeable and helpful. Loved finding out about the history of the area.

This was our first VBT tour and it won't be our last. The GPS directions were easy and amazing. The logistics were flawless making each day a new, exciting and carefree adventure. Will and Dan were superb guides keeping us safe and informed throughout the trip. This was a great way to explore the Cotswolds.

With the exception of a few routes, rides were on bike paths, waterways and small village roads. Rain is not uncommon so pack accordingly. The ride around Lake Annecy is a stunner. The countryside is green, peaceful and quiet. Logistics were handled well. It was enjoyable to take walking tours of medieval towns along the route. Be sure to pack your swimsuit for the thermal pools. Overall a great experience although our room for the last two nights of the tour was a disappointment.

The experience with VBT went beyond expectations as did the part of Greece where we cycled. The Peloponnesian Peninsula is a relatively undiscovered biking jewel, I enjoyed it far more than biking various Greek Islands. Accommodations were excellent and Greek food speaks for itself. VBT and the guides went out of their way in providing a 5 star experience. The bikes were new and top quality, the routes were varied and interesting. The guides bent over backwards to please us and provide a great biking as well as cultural experience.

This VBT trip does not disappoint! The attention to detail for every visit and experience was remarkable. I live in the mid-west and don't have many hills to train on so these rides were challenging for me, but doable and once I was done I felt very satisfied. The accommodations were all different and great in their own way. The guides were energetic and informative. I highly recommend this tour - it's a great way to see Greece!

Most sought after VBT bike trip and best we've ever taken

I only have accolades for every aspect of this trip. The guides, Angelo and Giovanni, were extremely thorough without being overbearing. Their love for Italy and cycling was so genuine. It seemed as though they were just our local companions rather than working for us. The daily agenda was so well thought out and every detail was considered. Of course, this area of Italy did not let us down in its natural beauty, quality of the food (amazing) and its affinity for a cycling trip.

Bikes Breakfasts,Hotels were all great. GPS worked well and VBT was there for assistance if needed.

This is a delightful trip. Our VBT host, Jan, was terrific! He briefed the group at the orientation, and was completely available to anyone for questions, advice, or other help all week by phone or text. Hotels and the bike route were wonderful. The entire week of the ride was very scenic, almost all on paved bike paths and without automobile traffic. Riding along the Danube is just stunning. We had hybrid (non-electric) bikes and found that they were completely adequate, as this is not a hilly trip. We loved this trip! This was our third self-guided trip, although our first with VBT. We plan to do more self-guided trips.
