From start to finish I enjoyed the locale, the scenery , the food and friendly people. The biking was fun and our guides were great ambassadors for their area.

Our Country Walkers trip to Slovenia and Croatia was the trip of a lifetime. Our walks ranged from beautiful mountain trails to a spectacular gorge, to Byzantine ruins on an island in the Adriatic. We experienced wine tasting and truffle hunting, and dinner at a historic summer home on Lake Bled. But what really made the trip unique was the knowledge, caring and skills of our two guides Daniel and Vida. They shared their passion for their country, knowledge of the natural world and the history of the region, while at all times looking out for us.
