With new departure dates and renegotiated air rates to lower prices, 2013 promises to be a banner year for travel with VBT
BRISTOL, VT—VBT Bicycling & Walking Vacations has announced the release of its latest catalog, featuring bicycling, walking and skiing vacations in 46 destinations through 28 countries around the world.
VBT’s newest vacations have been extremely popular and due to traveler demand, new departure dates have been added to their Sicily: Biking the Southern Coastal Villages vacation. Additionally, VBT’s all-new Cross-Country Skiing tours have been very well received by guests. The first departures for these 2013 ski vacations are already under way.
The active vacation company continues to offer traveler favorites like The Czech Republic, Germany & Austria, Tuscany by the Sea and Croatia: The Dalmatian Islands in addition to their popular Bike and Barge vacations in Holland and Belgium and Central Europe. Prime travel dates still remain for these sought-after destinations.
“We’re always evaluating our offerings and we continue to look for new opportunities in areas that we’ve yet to explore,” said Gregg Marston. “Our Product Development team does an excellent job of assessing the success of current vacations and in scouting out new locations. However,” Marston continued, “we recognize that one of our greatest resources is our travelers’ feedback. We’re very pleased to now offer traveler reviews directly on our website. We’ve received over a thousand reviews and we’ve been very happy about what our travelers have had to say.”
With the release of their newest catalog, VBT reaffirms their commitment to providing the highest quality vacations at the absolute best value in active travel. The 42 year old company has recently renegotiated air rates with their long-standing partners and has subsequently been able to reduce prices on many of their tours.
“Our mission is to deliver meaningful cultural experiences through physical activity that enhances the health of mind, body and spirit at an unsurpassed value,” said Gregg Marston. “We’ve continued to deliver on that objective and as we enter into 2013, we look forward to continuing to provide our travelers with life-changing vacations that are affordable.”
VBT continues to garner praise and recognition from their travelers and from peers within the industry. A full 99 percent of VBT’s travelers say they’ll recommend the active vacation company to their friends and 98 percent of their travelers plan to travel with VBT again.
“Few things are more satisfying than hearing that we’re hitting the mark with our guests and we look forward to continuing to provide our travelers with exactly what they want in 2013. We encourage our guests to keep filling us in on how we’re doing by reviewing their vacations at www.vbt.com,” said Director of Marketing, Paul Williams.
