Here’s How to Use Your New Compostable Water Bottle

It’s Not Plastic!

At VBT, environmental sustainability is one of our core values. To help make our tours more sustainable, we’ve recently introduced new compostable water bottles. These bottle aren’t plastic! They are made from a biodegradable substance composted of vegetable and renewable components obtained from the fermentation of plant biomass.

Within just 12 months of disposal, your water bottle will degrade and vanish into the soil without releasing toxic elements. It’s a good idea to change out your water bottle every season—and with our new biodegradable water bottles, you can do that without producing any plastic waste!

To enjoy your new compostable water bottle to the fullest, please follow these simple guidelines:

• Do not leave liquids inside the water bottle for more than eight hours.
•  Do not use alcohol-based liquids , milk, greasy, or oily liquids in your water bottle.
• After use, empty the water bottle and dry it.
